This Death by Chocolate Milkshake taunts and tempts even the most disciplined of appetites. It’s all of your chocolate dreams come true. And in just 10 minutes, you can have your dessert and drink it too! 

Asides from hot chocolate and non-alcoholic sparkling cider, what do kids and non-drinkers get?! In my house, they get brownie milkshakes.

Earlier this week, I made these fudge-like chocolate brownies and I could have happily devoured the entire pan, but we refrained and stashed half of the brownies. I figured we’d share with neighbors the following day.

That didn’t happen. It was cold and rainy. There was no way I was going to go outside. There was also no way that I was going to allow these brownies to go to waste. I took out the blender and set it to work.

 “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” That’s how I feel about this brownie milkshake. Individually, I love brownies, I love vanilla ice cream, and I love rainbow sprinkles. Put them all together and I’m head over heels.

Sure, milkshakes taste great during the summer when it’s hot and humid outside. But I prefer to enjoy rich and decadent treats at the end of the year. This is the kind of drink you savor during the holidays before new year diets and healthy eating commences.

Death by chocolate milkshake

INGREDIENTS

• 1/2 cup Frozen milk
• 4 scoops vanilla ice cream*
• 2 two-inch square  Chocolate Brownie pieces
• 2 tbsp Cocoa powder spoon
• 4 tbsp chocolate sauce
• 1 tbsp sugar

Toppings:

• whipped cream
• rainbow sprinkles
• half of the brownie put on top
